ORION / MEMORY CONSTELLATION

Learn once. Remember differently.

Orion helps a learner find a missing reasoning step. The learner explains an idea, checks the evidence, decides what to remember, and returns to a changed question later.

Read this first

Orion is a teach-back system. It is not a quiz bank. It does not assign a permanent score to a learner.

The learner controls the important decisions:

  1. The learner approves the learning map.
  2. The learner chooses a quest to inspect.
  3. The learner begins a teach-back only after the preview.
  4. The learner chooses whether a gap becomes memory.
  5. The learner can forget all learner data.

The product in four moves

1. Map

Orion turns a learning goal into a small constellation. The learner reviews the map before use.

2. Teach

The learner can view any quest first. The learner starts a response only after selecting Begin teach-back.

3. Decide

The response becomes evidence. The learner can save a hypothesis, correct a gap, defer it, or confirm it.

4. Return

After confirmed memory, Orion retrieves the learner-approved memory and changes the next mission.

Current production boundary

The production frontend is served by private S3 through CloudFront. The API runs through API Gateway and Lambda. CockroachDB Cloud stores durable learner state. OpenRouter is the active inference provider. Client Whisper stays in the browser. Bedrock and cloud speech adapters are future-only code.
